The Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (O-level) test is a national exam held in Singapore every year. The University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES), the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE), and the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board are all involved in the examinations.
This course prepares students for the Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level Examination, which is the same exam taken by Singapore Government Secondary 4/5 students (16-17 years old). The entire ‘O’ Level certificate is accepted all across the world. Students with this qualification can continue their studies in local polytechnics or junior colleges in Singapore. They can also pursue their studies in Commonwealth and non-Commonwealth countries.
If you or your child wants to get a good grade at the high school/o level, you should enroll in the Cambridge o level course. They offer an all-inclusive course with maximum affordability and excellent quality.
The o level syllabus
The University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES) sets and marks examined subjects in English and international languages, with the standards and grading for the subjects determined by SEAB and The Ministry of Education spoke with Cambridge Assessment International Examinations (CIE), a UCLES subsidiary. The Singapore Ministry of Education sets, marks, and grades localized topics such as Mother Tongue subjects such as Chinese, Malay, and Tamil, as well as Combined Humanities (Social Studies) (MOE).
Standard papers (except the specified localized papers) are sent to the Cambridge Assessment International Examinations (CIE) board (in the United Kingdom) for marking after the examination. With the use of the Integrated Examination System and bar-code labels for localized papers, the student’s personal information is excluded. Because the candidates’ names are not written on the papers or printed on the labels, local teachers would be unable to distinguish scripts from students at their school, preventing teacher malpractice.
The O-level course grades range from A to E, as well as A1,2, B3,4, C5,6, D7, E8, and 9 with no grade. The C6 grade is considered the exam’s passing grade; if you pass the exam, you will be qualified for the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level). As previously stated, the minimum number of subjects necessary is six, and students must take five mandatory subjects: mathematics, science, mother tongue language (from a list), and combined humanities. You have the option of selecting one subject from the list.
